An interesting read on the disappearance of Madeline McCann and detailing evidence that has been suppressed, but can now be published.
Personally, I’ve always thought this case stank to high heavens and wondered why the McCanns were never charged with neglect at the very least
In addition to JJ’s post, please find the translation of the book by the Portuguese lead investigating officer Goncalo Amaral. This is not available in English as an injunction was taken about by the McCanns preventing its publication in 2008.
However a Portuguese court overturned the injunction in 2015 allowing details to be published.
The most chilling facts are the police sniffer dogs found evidence of a cadaver in the apartment rented by the McCanns and that the cadaver was hidden behinf the sofa and in the McCanns rental car.
I’ve also included the interview details published in the Telegraph from Kate McCann where she refused to answer any questions on the disappearance or murder of her daughter.
Question 48 is particularly damning
48- Did you have any responsibility or intervention in your daughter’s disappearance?
In my opinion, her lack of response is clear sign of involvement or knowledge that she does not want to divulge.
Would you agree that any parent who had no involvement would respond accordingly and openly?
So who did kill Maddy?
Revenge is a dish best served cold, so they say.
It’s a phrase quite often used in popular culture and another phrase reiterated in The Godfather.
I’d heard it when I was younger, but If I’m honest, I was never sure exactly what it meant?
But now looking back, I seem to have learned that lesson from life experience.
I guess it depends that each case is different and it depends on the particular circumstances at the time. Continue reading “Wolf -4 – Cold”
Did you know that all wisdom is contained in the Godfather?
That it has rules for life that can be applied to almost any situation.
Friends close, enemies closer?
Not letting your emotions affect your judgement?
She was gone.
After four weeks of hibernation, I eventually told my friends and family. I was hurt, broken-hearted and strangely even felt ashamed although I’d done nothing wrong.
I’d had one week of shock, then two weeks of sleepless nights full of vengeful thoughts and what-ifs.
The final week was acceptance, realising that life has to go on, letting go of the most hurtful aspects, resurfacing and moving on .. or at least trying to.
My emotions were almost a classic case of the Kubler-Ross model of dealing with grief and mostly fitted the standard grieving process for losing a partner.

She tossed him away like a used condom
Last nights love still oozing in its head
Then she stepped on it
His head full of love now wasted
Splattered around her feet
Why? .. he pleaded
But the answer didn’t come
Only the blinking dots showing
She was considering a reply
Why should she?

I was browsing the web and came across a way to make money for writing .. I thought okay I’ll give this a look.
If you are interested have a look at TextBroker.com.
What they do is have writers and wannabe authors write fake product reviews .. fake because although they send a link to look at the product, you have no actual hands-on experience of it.
That to me is immoral, underhand commercialism.
Maybe its naive of me to think that these fake reviews don’t happen, I often suspect them on hotels.com, amazon etc.
Apparently writing a review of 150 words is worth 1 Euro?
What do you think?
Would you do it?
It’s not for me, I think that it’s deceitful and against my personal moral code.
I’ve extracted a Product Review below which is for Givenchy, but there are others for Prada, Ralph Lauren etc.
Don’t believe the fakers!
Speaking of fakers .. it’s Friday night and I’m staying in and washing my hair .. but tomorrow night my favourite David Bowie tribute band play Oran Mor Glasgow.
They put on a great show and I’m really looking forward to it.
