Dropped my daughter off at the Kodaline concert at The Barrowlands.
The Barrowland Ballroom, Glasgow’s famous old ballroom, known for its bouncy dance floor which my folks used to love.
Now it’s a live music venue where that floor is regularly jumping. It’s a strange feeling to be in a crowd of people and the floor to be moving under your feet.
After dropping her off, I had a bit of time to kill and had driven past Celtic Park on the way to the gig. So stopped off on the way home
The stadium was deserted, so different from the usual match day experience.
The new Celtic Way, the pedestrian avenue leading to to the stadium was lit up and looked fantastic, lined with flags featuring the names and photographs of players past and present.
That’s the first time I’ve had a proper look and very impressed.
